PHC CJ issues promotion order of 35 judicial officers

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim has issued promotion orders of 35 judicial officers based on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion/Administration Committee.

Among these, nine additional district and sessions judges have been promoted to the position of district and sessions judge (grade-21). The promoted judges include Senior Civil Judge Arshad Ali, Nadeem Muhammad, Jamal Shah Mehsud, Kiran Shaukat, and others.

According to a separate notification issued by Peshawar High Court Registrar Ikhtiyar Khan, these judicial officers were promoted to the next grade under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Service Rules 2021.

The judges promoted to grade-21 as District and Sessions Judges include Nadeem Muhammad, Syed Yasir Shabbir, Rasheedullah Kundi, Jamal Shah Mehsud, Muhammad Saeed Amjad, Naveedur Rahman, Syed Badshah, Shaukat Ali and Ziaul Haq.

Similarly, the senior civil judges promoted from grade-19 to grade-20 as additional district and session judges include: Khalid Mansoor, Ijazur Rahman, Syed Israr Ali Shah, Kiran Shaukat, Muhammad Irfan, Najeebul Haq, Muhammad Hanif, Iftikhar Ahmad, Bakht Zada, Saeeda Tahreema Sabahat, Muhammad Jamil Khan, Nadeem Akhtar, and Asif Kamal.

Civil judges promoted from grade-18 to grade-19 to the position of senior civil judges include: Arshad Ali, Sabir Ali Shah, Ijaz Mehsud, Shaukat Hussain, Yasir Hussain, Aziz Ahmad, Adnan Iqbal, Rafiq Zahoor, Samiullah Khan, Iram Nosheen, Arshad Ali, Iram Ayesha, and Riaz Aslam.
