Islamabad:Convener of the Sub- Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training Prof Engineer Abdul Aleem Khanzada inaugurated the IT Park and e-Rozgar Centre initiatives at Islamabad Model College for Boys F-10/4 here.
Prominent personalities from various provinces and academia attended the event. Federal education secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani encouraged youth to take charge of their futures. He said it was 5th e-Rozgaar centre launched in Islamabad Capital Territory, providing a prime location for freelancers and IT professionals to work.
The secretary said those centres were meant to provide free facilities to IT professionals and freelancers to match global standards. He said there was equal access for girls and boys to explore opportunities. The secretary said the initiative was a testament to the education and IT ministries' commitment to fostering a digitally empowered Pakistan.
