Two women among four wounded in firing incidents

Four people, including two women, were wounded in separate firing incidents across the city on Wednesday.

In the Korangi area, a 23-year-old woman named Atiqa, wife of Munawar Hassan, was injured near the NADRA office. She was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. According to police, the incident was caused by celebratory aerial firing

during a wedding.

In another incident, a six-year-old girl, Ariba, daughter of Shan, was wounded near Shah Faisal Chowk in Orangi Town. She was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medical attention.

Additionally, a 22-year-old man, Mubarak Ali, was shot in the leg near Madina Chowk in Machhar Colony by unidentified assailants. The motive behind the shooting remained unclear.

Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man, Ashiq Hussain, son of Sadiq, was injured in a firing incident in Surjani Town. He was also taken to the ASH, and police were investigating the motive behind this incident as well.
