Cop says 40 kids reunited with parents so far

PESHAWAR: After concern by some locals over missing children from the provincial capital, the local police said 51 such cases have been reported during the year and over 40 kids have already been reunited with families.

Capital City Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan said that 11 children were those who were living with close relatives and their parents later came to know about it. There were several social media reports in the last few days that expressed concern over the missing children from different parts of Peshawar. “As many as 51 cases of children missing from home were reported to police this year of which 40 have reunited with parents,” said the CCPO.
