Asjad controlled the match from the start, taking the first frame 49-18. He maintained his momentum with frame victories of 38-34, 46-13, 40-31, 52-13, and capped off the contest with a resounding 45-0 win in the final frame, which included a 40-point break. Singh failed to win a single frame as Asjad’s precise play kept the Indian cueist on the back foot throughout. Earlier, Asjad beat Cyprus’ Michael Georgiou 5-2 in the quarterfinals to book his spot in the semis.
