Solangi visited the District Central deputy commissioner’s office, where during a meeting, a comprehensive strategy was devised to eliminate illegal constructions in the district. The DG said the district has received the highest number of complaints about illegal constructions.

“We have decided to take strong action against these illegal constructions through a joint venture. This operation is being initiated to protect the assets of the underprivileged,” said Solangi, adding that the 10-day drive would send a strong message to those involved in illegal constructions. He noted that 300 illegal rooftops have been constructed in the district over

the past three months.
