She added: “I pay homage to martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for the sake of peace. Salutations to the security forces and police for their services for peace. Sustainable peace is indispensable for the development of Pakistan. Tributes also to all champions of peace who are making efforts to resolve conflicts. The flowers of prosperity bloom in peace and happiness spreads everywhere.”

She said: “Every member of the society should play his role in the establishment of peace. Those who follow the path of violence and anarchy are enemies of peace and stability of the beloved homeland. Sabotaging peace under the guise of dissent is condemnable. May there be peace and prosperity in Pakistan. Peace in the world including Kashmir and Palestine is a dream of all of us.”

Maryam on Saturday, while taking notice of the discovery of two girls’ bodies from the Jaranwala Satyana Road, directed the inspector general of police to investigate the incident and submit a report. She offered condolences to the bereaved families.
