Islamabad: The Diabetes Centre announced the inauguration of its inaugural HOW Hospital on wheels Clinic. This significant event marks a milestone in expanding comprehensive healthcare services to both deserving and non-deserving patients in the region, says a press release.
The clinic’s grand opening took place this morning, commencing with a ‘dua’ led by Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Popi, who recited the Holy Quran. The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of distinguished guests, including Shaikh Basharat Saleem, a well-known philanthropist and former President of the Chamber of Commerce, and President Punjab Fertilize Association Chaudhry Munir Ahmed.
Dr. Nasreen provided an insightful briefing on the HOW project, highlighting the clinic's commitment to delivering essential pharmacy services, doctor consultations, and laboratory services. The aim is to ensure that quality healthcare is accessible to all individuals, regardless of their financial status.
