LAHORE:Kot Lakhpat police Thursday arrested a man for attempting to murder a citizen over a dispute about free meal stall on Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.
Mehar Mukhtar and Shabbir exchanged harsh words over the location of the free meal stall and Mukhtar opened fire on Shabbir. Kot Lakhpat police registered a case against the accused and with the help of modern IT technology traced and arrested him from the Amarsidhu locality. SP Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar stated that no one would be allowed to take laws into their own hands.
