The election for the apex IT body’s office bearers will take place on September 23, 2024. The new office bearers and CEC of PSHA will officially take charge on October 1, 2024.

Zohaib Khan, the outgoing chairman, welcomed the newly elected CEC, highlighting their role as torchbearers for one of the most promising and rapidly developing industries, which achieved a record $3.2 billion in exports in FY24.

The Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITES (PSHA) has represented the IT and IT-enabled services sector since 1992. Its mandate is to collaborate with the government on policy issues and with other stakeholders to promote the IT sector, as well as to provide platforms that create more opportunities for members of the ecosystem, both domestically and internationally.

PSHA is the only entity in the Pakistani IT industry that is globally registered with and recognized by institutions such as the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (Wista), the Asian Oceanic Computing Industry Organization (Asocio), the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (Apicta), and the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).
