Prince Harry is highly unlikely to return to the UK full-time, as his friend recently confirmed that his life is now firmly based in America.
In a BBC report marking the Duke of Sussex’s 40th birthday, senior royal correspondent Daniela Relph noted that rumors of Harry’s potential royal return lack substantial evidence.
A close friend of Harry revealed to Relph that while Harry might visit the UK more frequently for work, he has no plans to relocate back to his home country.
The friend explained, "Why would he give up everything he’s achieved there to return here? His life is now in America."
The report also highlighted his concerns about safety, noting that he does not feel secure in the UK following the removal of his police protection after stepping down from his royal duties in 2020.
Harry has recently shied away from staying in royal residences, citing concerns about paparazzi attention in London—something he hasn't faced in his serene new home of Montecito, California.
