Kim Kardashian recently opened up about the challenges of parenting a child with a learning difference, following her daughter North West’s public revelation that she has dyslexia.

In an Instagram Story, the reality star shared a video of her friend Lauren Sánchez speaking on The View about her children’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, where Sánchez discussed her own struggles with dyslexia growing up.

Kim used the moment to offer support to other parents facing similar challenges, writing: "I'm reposting this not because she's my friend and I love her, but because every mom who has struggled with their kids with dyslexia or any learning difference needs to hear that it will be okay."

North, 11, who has amassed over 19 million followers on TikTok, first shared her diagnosis in a livestream last year, telling viewers: "Guys, I have dyslexia. Do you even know what that is?"

Her 11-year-old openly shared that she has dyslexia. Kim intervened, saying, "Northie, you sure are spilling the tea on here," before gently asking her to end the stream, adding, "You are just saying way too much. I purposely don’t talk about stuff that you are going through."

North, whose father is rapper Kanye West, has also been vocal about her future ambitions.

Despite her young age, she’s already thinking about following in her famous parents’ entrepreneurial footsteps.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed that North dreams of one day owning both the Yeezy and Skims brands.
