Prince Andrew gets hate from disgruntled staff amid Royal Lodge row

Prince Andrew was delivered a brutal message amid his ongoing row over Royal Lodge with brother King Charles.

Before the disgraced royal was stripped off of his royal titles and patronages following his sexual abuse of a minor settlement, the Duke of York was a working member of the royal family during his mother Queen Elizabeth’s reign.

Now, the public is actively showing its disproval of the monarch’s brother after mortifying incident occurred in Ireland.

A tablet, which marked Andrew’s formal role in opening the Belfast City Hospital in 1986, was ripped off from the wall by angry staff after details of the royal’s case came into the spotlight, via The Daily Beast.

The plaque had been recovered and the staff responsible is also been “disciplined” over the stunt. While there is an ongoing investigation taking place, the plaque has not been reinstated and instead it is kept in storage.

Meanwhile, Belfast lawmaker Colin McGrath remarked that the staff actually did a “favour” and it was “outrageous” that they were being disciplined for it.

“Either back your staff or back a commemorative display for Prince Andrew. I know which side I would be on,” he told BBC.

The news comes amid Andrew and Charles row over the Royal Lodge as the shamed royal is on the verge of being kicked out from his 30-room Windsor home.

While no official announcement has been made, Palace sources reveal that the King’s patience is wearing thin as Andrew continues to resist eviction with his antics.

The insiders also added that while Andrew “remains the King’s brother” he will “never” be allowed to take on public duties, and will be kept away from the spotlight during family events.
