Bodies of three youths recovered in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police recovered three bodies of youths and weapons from a house in Pandramail area in the jurisdiction of Yarak Police Station on Saturday.

Station House Officer, Yarak, Fahim Mumtaz said that he received information of the presence of three bodies in a house owned by one Sheikh Abdul Wali Wazir in Pandramail area.

He said that he, along with a police party, rushed to the spot and collected the bodies of three slain youths. The SHO said that various weapons and cartridges were also lying beside the bodies, which were seized.

The bodies were later taken to the District Headquarters Hospital Dera Ismail Khan for medico-legal formalities. According to police, the slain youths were identified as Saifullah, Khairullah and Jamal Din and their ages were between 17 and 20 years. Unidentified gunmen had shot them with automatic weapons. They belonged to the Bakakhel area in Bannu, which remained a semi-tribal area and a haven for militants in the past.
