PU awards PhD degrees to 10 scholars

LAHORE : Punjab University (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to 10 of its scholars.

According to details, Ayesha Munir has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Ayesha Kanwal in the subject of Chemistry, Sumaira Kousar in the subject of Geography, Kashif Siddique in the subject of Gender Studies, Zia Ud Din in the subject of Islamic Studies, Nadeem Abbas in the subject of Sociology, M Saqib in the subject of Statistics, Muhammad Shahzad in the subject of Molecular Biology, Waqar Arif in the subject of Persian and Hina Maqbool in the subject of Sociology.

MPhil/PhD supervisors’ training concludes

The five-day ‘MPhil/PhD Supervisors’ Training (Phase-II)’ concluded at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Friday. UVAS VC Meritorious Prof Dr M Younus presided over the concluding session of the training and distributed certificates among the resource persons, master trainers and participants while faculty members from City Campus, Ravi Campus Pattoki, KBCMA CVAS-Narowal and CVAS Jhang were present.
