GNEXT Technologies partners with Air Link to expand Apple presence

KARACHI: GNEXT Technologies, the authorized distributor of Apple products in Pakistan, has announced a strategic partnership with Air Link Communications Limited, a leading smartphone manufacturer and assembler.

This collaboration aims to significantly increase the availability of Apple devices through a wider network of retail channels.CEO of GNEXT Technologies Shahid Khan expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Air Link as our premium partner. Their extensive distribution network aligns perfectly with our goal of making Apple products accessible to a broader audience in Pakistan.”

CEO of Air Link Communications Limited Muzzaffar Hayat Piracha echoed Khan’s sentiments, emphasizing the company’s commitment to providing customers with the best possible Apple experience. “We are honoured to join forces with GNEXT and leverage our combined strengths to establish a robust network of authorized retailers across the country,” Piracha said.

Through this partnership, GNEXT and Air Link seek to offer customers a wider selection of Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories. This expanded availability is expected to meet the growing demand for Apple devices in Pakistan’s vibrant tech market.

Air Link Communications Limited has recently achieved significant financial success, with its profit-after-tax increasing by 382 per cent to Rs4.625 billion in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. The company has also announced plans to start producing Xiaomi Smart TVs at its Lahore facility in October.

Pakistan, with its large and tech-savvy population, has become an attractive market for global tech giants. In recent weeks, Google has unveiled plans to manufacture half a million Chromebooks in the country, and Apple has launched its new iPhone 16 series, featuring advanced AI capabilities.
