The demand was made at a meeting of the association attended by all the faculty members of the college.Nawabzada, president, and Sareer Khan, general secretary of the association presided over the meeting.

The participants adopted a unanimous resolution to draw the attention of the chairman of the board of governors and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor towards the grave problems being faced by the college.

The resolution alleged that the college administration was hindering a free and independent audit of the college’s academic and financial matters despite the directives of a previous meeting of the board.

The resolution stated that an independent audit of the college would not only acknowledge the services of the college but also the financial, administrative and academic structure of the college would be improved. A delegation of the faculty later visited the Governor’s House to present the resolution to the governor.

They met the principal secretary to the governor, presented him a copy of the resolution and apprised him of the problems faced by the college. The board of governor of the college is holding its meeting today (Tuesday) in continuation of a previous meeting to pass the budget of the college.
