The programme was aimed at training hundreds of officers and personnel from the Excise Department. According to sources, the session was marred by a series of technical glitches that disrupted the entire training process. Despite prior planning, the IT team could not ensure the proper setup of systems required for the programme.

Several officers expressed their disappointment over the recurring failures of such programmes, citing this as a sign of the department’s lack of preparedness and efficiency. Past training sessions have also suffered similar setbacks.

An officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, shared, ‘We came expecting a productive session, but once again, we are leaving without any substantial outcome. The department seriously needs to reconsider how they handle these programmes.’

The officers were sent back without any clear indication of when or how the training would be rescheduled, raising concerns about the department's future training initiatives. As of now, no official statement has been made by the Excise Department. However, sources suggest that internal inquiries may be launched to determine the cause of the repeated failures.
