KOHAT: The son of former provincial minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Amjad Khan Afridi sustained injuries when unidentified armed men attacked his farm house in Kohat.
A spokesperson for PPP said that Babar Azeem Afridi, the son of Amjad Khan Afridi, was rushed to a hospital. He said that Babar Azeem Afridi had contested the election for the slot of tehsil chairman in Kohat.
Amjad Afridi condemned the attack on his farm house and said the PTI government had failed to maintain law and order. He said the PPP would not bow before such tactics and would continue to speak the truth.
Demanding transparent investigation into the incident, he said rivals were afraid of the popularity of the PPP.
