The state of education in Sindh is quite alarming, as highlighted by the Planning Commission’s District Education Performance Index Report 2023. The province's education performance is below the national average and none of its districts rank among the top ten in Pakistan for education. Several challenges contribute to this crisis. Many schools rely on outdated teaching methods, lack basic infrastructure, and have unmotivated teachers.

To address these issues, the Sindh government must implement urgent reforms. Regular teacher training programmes should be introduced to enhance teaching skills and adapt to modern educational practices. Effective monitoring systems must be established to ensure accountability, with performance evaluations based on measurable results rather than seniority.
