Ruda to introduce 1pc quota for martyrs’ families

Ruda officials pay rich tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the protection of the country

LALHORE: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (Ruda) arranged a special ceremony at its headquarters to observe Defence Day in a befitting manner on Friday.

Ruda CEO Imran Amin, on this occasion, announced a significant initiative to support the families of martyrs. He said Ruda will introduce 1% quota for the families of martyrs, which will be approved by the board before its formal announcement. This step aimed to provide tangible support and opportunities to those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty, he said.

During the ceremony, rich tribute were paid to the brave soldiers, who sacrificed their lives defending Pakistan’s sovereignty. The participants of ceremony also offered special prayers for peace, prosperity, and strength of the country.

Addressing the ceremony, Ruda officials paid rich tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the protection of the country. They further added that the sacrifices of our martyrs continue to inspire us to defend our nation with unwavering resolve.
