Enmity claims two lives

NOWSHERA: A man and his son were killed and several others injured when two rival groups attacked each other first at a mosque and later at a house over an enmity in Nizampur locality in the district. It was learnt that one group stabbed three people identified as Aqib, Faisal and Sudais at a mosque.

The injured were rushed to the Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex.The stabbings at the mosque prompted the other side to attack the house of their rivals, leaving a man and his son dead and three others wounded. They were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera.The slain persons were identified as Inayatullah and Ghulam Raziq. The two rival groups had a land dispute. Several jirgas were held in the past to resolve the issue, but to no avail.
