Sadly, most of the private firms do not adhere to minimum wage regulations. Though the government has hiked the minimum wage, most firms were not even complying with the old minimum wage.
This is objectionable and cruel. The federal and provincial governments must ensure that all companies are adhering to minimum wage laws so that workers are not deprived of their rights.
