King Charles III's office has paid a special tribute toDwayne Fields for becomingthe UK's new chief scout.

The 41-year-old, who turned away from life of 'weed, cocaine and guns', succeeded TV star Bear Grylls to lead half a million young people and adult volunteers in the Britain.

The royal family's official social media accounts shared the stunning video of the real hero with a heartwarming message after Harry's emotional video message, explaining: "Sport has the ability to heal, to change lives and to save lives."

The Palace in the latest statement, wrote: "Congratulations DwayneFields on becoming Chief Scout, inspiring half a million Scouts to believe in themselves, help other people and gain #SkillsForLife!"

Key part of Mr Fields' mission will be to attract new volunteers, especially in communities new to the group to bring in more young people.

He was formally announced as the 11th Chief Scout on Thursday at a north London park where he began his Cubs journe.

Fields said: "Scouts helped shame who I am today and I hope my story will encourage others to join and achieve their dreams."
