Islamabad:In a powerful statement commemorating Pakistan’s Defence Day, Secretary General of Tehreek Jawanaan Pakistan and CEO of GoForeign, Major Sajid Majeed Chaudhry, lauded the unwavering bravery of the nation and its armed forces during the 1965 war. Reflecting on the historical significance of September 6, 1965, he highlighted the unmatched resilience and courage shown by the Pakistan Army, which, according to him, displayed martyrdom seven times greater than that of the enemy.

Major Chaudhry emphasised the triumph of Pakistan's forces on multiple fronts, including the successful defence and subsequent victories at the Wahga Border, Bedian, and Khemkaran on the Eastern Front. He praised the military’s exceptional ability to respond to every act of aggression, forcing the enemy to retreat while inflicting heavy losses, especially on the Indian Air Force, which saw dozens of its planes destroyed.

He added that international observers regarded these attacks as a major setback for India’s military capabilities. The Pakistan Navy also played a pivotal role by blocking India's advance towards Karachi and destroying aircraft and radar systems at Dwarka, further crippling the enemy’s offensive capabilities.

"Pakistan emerged victorious on every front, displaying bravery and professionalism that was recognised on the world stage," Major Chaudhry remarked, emphasising that the unity of the Pakistani nation behind its military forces was key to the success.
