A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa heard a matter related to share of daughters in the property after the death of their father.

During the course of hearing, Chief Justice stressed the parties including brothers and sisters to maintain good relations among each other so that it could be adopted also by the coming generation.

The Chief Justice asked the family to make a settlement among each other for resolving their issue and expressed the hope that the matter in hand will be resolved until next hearing.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing for a month.

As per details of the case, in the year 2017 after the death of their father, the daughters had fought their case in different courts regarding division of inherited property and later on they had approached the Supreme Court as they were deprived of their shares in the father’s inherited property.
