LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday reached Lahore. He was received by Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, IG Punjab Dr Usman, CCPO Lahore Bilal Kamiyana and other senior officials. President Zardari visited the residence of Shaheed Captain Muhammad Ali Qureshi and expressed condolence with the family over his martyrdom.
Muhammad Ali Qureshi embraced martyrdom in the recent terrorist strike in Balochistan. President Zardari expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
He said former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto also lost her life in the hands of terrorists and all efforts would be made to root out this menace from the country.
