Islamabad : For the first time in Islamabad's public schools overseen by the Federal Directorate of Education, over 1,000 students have embarked on a six-month certificate course in major foreign languages.
The orientation for German and Chinese language courses features resource persons from the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, according to officials.
They said the initial batch included training in German, Chinese, Japanese, and Chinese languages.
Meanwhile, the education ministry announced that its officials held a successful meeting with the representatives of Huawei Pakistan to explore future collaboration opportunities.
