ISLAMABAD: Citing the chairman of Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Allama Raghib Hussain Naeemi’s informal media talk, it was mistakenly reported that a religious party sent 400 threats to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) after a decree (fatwa) of killing following July 24 verdict was declared as unconstitutional.
It is clarified that the Allama Naeemi stated that he received 400 threatening messages after he declared the fatwa violated the constitution and Shariat.
