ISLAMABAD: Former Senate chairman Mian Raza Rabbani, while condemning the decision of the Committee on Restructuring and Rightsizing to outsource jobs in grades 1 to 16, said that the axe of rightsizing is once again falling on the low income group, who will be rendered jobless.

“Making the low income workers jobless when the electricity bills are touching the sky and having two meals a day impossible, shows the disregard of the Committee for human suffering,” he said in a statement on Wednesday. Raza Rabbani said the Committee should devolve all the ministries that have been retained by the federal government after the 18th Amendment. He said such ministries are identified and require no search, the government is deliberately hanging on to them.
