Us: What is the most challenging thing about a showbiz career?

Adnan Raza Mir: Staying positive when people are negative about you!! Most people don’t know that this field isn’t all glam.

Us: What is something you learned in your career which helped you become a better artist?

ARM: Pain, suffering, and happiness.

Us: How did you carve your niche in the industry?

ARM: Still getting there!

Us: Do you believe good looks and connections are the only things that make a star?

ARM: I believe a lot of it is luck.

Us: Who are some of your role models?

ARM: I have one role model, and that is easily my dad. I want to be like him.

Us: How do you deal with self-doubt?

ARM: It’s all in your mind. Take the plunge. Get out of your comfort zone and take the plunge!!!

Us: How has social media changed things for you?

ARM: To be honest, I don’t use social media much, so I haven’t noticed too much of a difference.

Us: Please share three pieces of advice for young actors.

ARM: Am I not a young actor? Please someone give me three pieces of advice. (laughs)

My teenage years

My zodiac sign is

Pisces.

The best thing about being a teenager was

Getting excited about little things in life.

The worst thing about being a teenager was

The fear and anxiety of not succeeding or having a purpose.

My favourite actors were

Colin Farrell and Jake Gyllenhaal.

What hurt me the most was

Not being able to help someone when I saw they were in distress.

I wish I had known then

To take things easy and with time, instead of trying to do everything all at once.

My favourite subject was

Math and P.E.

My least favourite subject was

Geography. Please don’t ever ask me to point out a place on a map!

My favourite superhero was

Not really a superhero, but Deadpool. Sucker for someone who can do comedy.
