LAHORE: Pakistan’s white-ball head coach Gary Kirsten and assistant coach Azhar Mahmood have arrived in Lahore to meet with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Their focus will be analysing the recent T20 World Cup performance and formulating a plan for future success. Red-ball coach Jason Gillespie is also expected to join them. Chairman Naqvi will also hold discussions with former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and other cricketers. These consultations aim to address ongoing problems within the national team, including the future of white-ball captain Babar Azam.

Babar’s leadership is under scrutiny following Pakistan’s disappointing T20 World Cup campaign. Pakistan’s next challenge is a two-match Test series against Bangladesh on home soil. There’s speculation that Sarfaraz Ahmed might be included in this series.
