Act on education

In May of this year, the government of Pakistan declared a state of education emergency to address the alarming issue of 26 million out-of-school children. Despite the gravity of this situation, neither the federal nor provincial budgets have allocated sufficient resources to address this issue. Furthermore, many of these children are trapped in child labour, rendering them vulnerable to exploitation.

The question remains whether the government will take decisive action against such malicious influences or merely pay lip service to education, effectively absolving themselves of responsibility for addressing this critical issue.
