CHARSADDA: A 15-year-old ninth-grade student, who was struck by a stray bullet two days ago, has succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
Mustafa was in his home’s courtyard during the evening when he was suddenly hit by the stray bullet. The incident took place in the Surki area in the jurisdiction of the Khanmahi Police Station.
After battling for life during the last two days, he passed away at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) on Friday.Mustafa’s funeral prayer was held in his native village, attended by thousands of people from the area.Meanwhile, Khanmahi Police Station has registered a case and started searching for the individuals responsible for the celebratory firing that took the student’s life.
