The district president Sardar Mohammad Khan on behalf of PTI leader Azam Khan Swati served party office bearers Shahid Rafique and Ajmal Khan Swati with show cause notices to explain why they had criticized Zahid Chanzeb and MPA Ikramullah at a public gathering in Battal town early this week.

The party’s tehsil president in Oghi, Razaullah Khan, who had arranged the public gathering at Battal where Shahid Rafique and Ajmal Khan Swati, according to show-cause notices, used abusive language against the advisor to the CM and the MPA. The letter revealed that the show-cause notices were being served on party office-bearers as per directives of Azam Khan Swati.

The dissidents were given seven days to explain in writing why they behaved that way and allegedly defamed the party-elected members of parliament at a public gathering.

The party sources revealed that both Shahid and Ajmal besides using allegedly derogatory language against the advisor and the MPA also criticised PTI’s central and provincial parliamentary boards which, according to them, ignored the rightful and deserving aspirants in the Feb 8 general elections and awarded with tickets to hypocrites and those who had not rendered sacrifices for the party cause during its difficult period after the founding chairman was put behind bars.
