Talking to BBC Urdu, he said, “Ups and downs are part of politics and should be resolved politically and should not be taken as a threat.”

Khawaja Asif said, “I don’t think that PTI founder will take the prime minister’s offer of talks seriously but the government is ready for talks.”

To a question, the defence minister said if the political powers wanted to work together to find a way for the country to improve, what would be establishment’s objection.
