Animal cruelty

In Sindh’s Sanghar district, a camel’s leg was brutally chopped off after it wandered into a landlord’s fields and damaged his crops. The culprits have been arrested, and the camel will receive a prosthetic limb in Karachi. This horrific crime highlights the urgent need for better animal protection laws. Current laws are outdated and insufficient, allowing offenders to escape with minimal fines. Stricter penalties and stronger enforcement are necessary to deter future abuse and send a clear message that animal cruelty is unacceptable.
