Designer’s house attacked; suspect arrested

LAHORE:A suspect attacked the house of a designer in Iqbal Town on Tuesday. Reportedly, the suspect identified as Fahad alias Boota fired at the house of the designer as he had a dispute with the house owner over a minor issue. The firing spread panic in the area. Earlier, the police registered a case and through CCTV footage and traced and arrested the accused.

Minor abducted, recovered

A suspect abducted a six-year-old child from Lohari Gate. Ayyan was playing outside his home when the suspect lured him and took him to an unidentified location. With the help of a CCTV footage, police traced and arrested the suspect identified as Umar and recovered the child and handed him to his family. According to police, the accused was involved in molestation cases in the past.

Thief arrested with PSCA’s help

Police have arrested a thief with the help of PSCA on charge of stealing millions from business centres. The thief used to steal valuables from Anarkali Bazaar, Hall Road, Hafeez Centre, and other business locations during the morning hours. The thief had escaped after stealing Rs900,000 in cash and 500 grams of gold from Sarafa Bazaar. Laptops worth more than Rs4 million were also stolen from electronics market.

PSCA team received a theft call on 15, upon which the virtual patrolling officers located the thief using his description, routes, and other identifying marks. Acting promptly on Safe City's identification, the police arrested the thief. PSCA spokesperson stated that FIRs worth more than Rs25 million were registered against the thief in various police stations across the City.

Man dies as bike hits footpath

A motorcyclist died when he hit a footpath near Lahore Railway Station on Tuesday. The victim was going somewhere on his motorcycle and near Railway Station he lost control over his motorcycle and hit the footpath and died instantly.

Two burglars held

Chuhng police Tuesday arrested two suspected burglars. The police detained accused Ali Nawaz and Azam and recovered cash, five mobile phones, motorcycles and pistols from their possession. The accused confessed to various crimes.
