ISLAMABAD: Senator Professor Sajid Mir elected as the Chairman of Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Affairs, while Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir elected as Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Defence Production.
The election of the chairmen of the standing committees of the Senate continued and the chairmen of standing committees of Kashmir and GB Affairs and Defence production were held on Monday.
Senator Professor Sajid Mir was elected as the Chairman of Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs.The Name of Senator Professor Sajid Mir for the Senate Standing Committee was proposed by Senator Azam Nazir Tarar while Senator Falak Naz seconded it.
