When questioned about Taylor, the former US president said, “She’s got a great star quality. She really does.”

Donald continued, “I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal.”

“She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!” he stated.

While talking about Taylor’s music, Donald replied, “Don’t know it well.”

However, he asked few questions in the book about Taylor, writing, “She is liberal, or is that just an act? She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.”

Ramin pointed out that Taylor is no longer a country artist and Donald responded, “Garth Brooks is liberal. Explain that! How does it happen? But he’s liberal. It’s one of those things.”

Earlier in her 2020 documentary Miss Americana, Taylor spoke up about her decision to become politically vocal.

“Back in the [2016] presidential election, I was in such a horrendous place that I wasn’t going to pop my head out. These aren’t your dad’s celebrities and these aren’t your dad’s Republicans… I need to be on the right side of history,” explained the singer.

Interestingly, in a 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, Taylor shared how Donald affected her political stance.

“As a country musician, I was always told it’s better to stay out of [politics]. The Trump presidency forced me to lean in and educate myself,” she added.

Meanwhile, Donald’s new book will hit the bookstores on June 18.
