LAHORE:The UMT on Tuesday commemorated the 26th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer with zeal and fervor in remembrance of the successful nuclear tests that helped make the nation's defence invincible.
According to a press release, Ibrahim Hasan Murad, former provincial minister and President of UMT, while addressing a seminar emphasised that Youm-e-Takbeer was a testament to the nation's collective strength. 'Pakistan overcame great challenges to achieve this accomplishment in its defence capabilities,' he said. Highlighting the significance of these nuclear tests, the UMT President said that Pakistan became the seventh nuclear-armed nation and the first Muslim country to possess nuclear weapons, marking a collective success for the Muslim world. 'These tests not only ensured Pakistan's territorial integrity and strength but also helped regional stability in South Asia,' he added. Murad also expressed his admiration for the scientists, engineers, and officials who made this dream a reality.
