Kriti Sanon says it's 'hurtful' to put blame on actress forfilmfailure

Kriti Sanon said it is sad when people put blame on an actress if a film fails to rule at the box office.

In a conversation with Zoom TV, the Mimi actress revealed that she received 'hurtful' comments when her films did not perform well in cinemas.

Kriti said, "It's just very sad. At times, I do come across really hurtful comments. A film, succeeding or not, is not one just person. It's a whole team."

However, the B-town diva shared that she chose to ignore all the unnecessary hate as her work should speak "because nothing else really matters."

She added, "People quickly blame it on the girl sometimes, in many cases, not just films, even matches sometimes. Trolls are trolls, you can't pay so much attention to them."

For the unversed, Kriti made her acting debut in Bollywood with a film titled Heropanti alongside Tiger Shroff.

The actress was last seen in a comedy-drama movie Crew, featuring Kareena Kapoor and Tabu.

Notably, Kriti's latest female-led project entered the INR 100 crore club within nine days of the film's release.
