LAHORE: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Punjab, condemned the political interference of a former MNA from Multan and the subsequent appointment as ED of a less experienced individual.
In a statement issued here Sunday, PMA Punjab General Secretary Dr Kamran Ahmed said that this decision has led to the humiliation of the senior faculty member of this critical health care facility in South Punjab.
The recurring of appointing junior most Senior Registrar Dr Ahmad Ali Malik as Additional Director who is using all powers of Executive Director on involvement of ex-MNA is condemnable and faculty of Burn Unit, including Prof Naheed, Prof Waseem Rabbani, Dr Bilal Saeed, Dr Naveed Ahmad and Dr Ali Mehdi resigned as a protest.
