Three injured in firing over money dispute

LAHORE:Three people were injured as a result of firing over a transaction dispute on Band Road in the Islampura area.

According to the details, suspect Gul Khan opened fire on Usman over a transaction dispute in the Islampura area. As a result, Usman, Karamat and a passer-by girl Iman Fata were injured while the accused Gul Khan fled the spot. The injured were shifted to the hospital.

Three die in road accidents in 24 hours

The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 325 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

In these accidents, three people died, whereas 374 were injured. Out of these, 211 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 163 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.

Three bodies found

The bodies of three people, including a woman, were found in different areas of the City. According to the details, body of a 50-year-old unidentified woman was found from Lajpat Road area of Shahdara, a 40-year-old man from Tibi City area, while in Mughalpura area, the body of a 45-year-old unidentified person was found near Lal Pul. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the mortuary. According to the police, the victims were not identified while the search for their heirs was going on.
