LAHORE: Talks between the PMLN and PMLQ are underway and both parties are expected to make a headway on seat adjustment for general elections.
According to the sources, PMLQ wants adjustment on several seats besides four National Assembly seats and eight Provincial Assembly seats it had won in 2018.
In 2018, Salik Hussain, Monis Elahi, Hussain Elahi and Tariq Bashir Cheema succeeded on the the National Assembly these seats.
Chaudhry Shujaat’s son Shafay Hussain has submitted papers for two provincial assembly seats from Gujarat.
Sources said that seat adjustment for Salik Hussain and Shafay Hussain in Gujarat is expected, but they ruled out such an arrangement for Hussain Elahi and Musa Elahi from Gujarat.
