DI KHAN: More and more candidates are submitting nomination papers in the district for the national and provincial assembly elections scheduled to be held on February 8 in the country.
On Friday, Pakistan People’s Party Secretary Information Faisal Kareem Kundi submitted his nomination papers for NA-44. Similarly, Sardar Fatahullah Miankhel, Ahmed Kareem Kundi, Makhdoom Aftab Shah, and Sardar Qaisar Khan Miankhel also submitted their nomination papers.
On the occasion, PPP activists also held rallies. Faisal Kareem Kundi, addressing the workers, said that February 8 would be a day of victory for PPP candidates, and those who tried to deceive people in the name of Islam had failed.
Fatahullah Khan Miankhel said that victims of the floods were still living on false promises, adding that Maulana brothers of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F deceived the flood victims in the name of aid.Qaisar Khan Miankhel said that people of Paharpur had always trusted the Miankhel family and would do so in coming elections.
