BISHAM: The police raided the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai to arrest him, but he was not at home at the time of the raid, sources said on Tuesday.
The cops arrived at the residence of Shaukat Yousafzai, who is senior vice-president of the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, for his arrest along with a police van and the arrest warrant, but he was not present.
The police party searched the hujra and looked everywhere for the former PTI minister, but could not find him. The cops also made some videos of the hujra. It may be mentioned that Liaqat Yousafzai, a brother of Shaukat Yousafzai, was arrested along with his friends
a few days ago when he was going to attend a meeting of the PTI. He was nominated in a couple of cases. Interestingly, Shaukat Yousafzai was also nominated in one of the first information reports after three days even though he was not present in Shangla.
