ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to go paperless by starting an e-filing system and digitisation in order to improve its service delivery system.
The Authority will acquire the services of a private software company to achieve the desired objective.
An official said Sector D-12 would be taken up as a pilot project while moving towards digitisation of property record.
All the service deliveries, including auction of plots and approval of building plans, would be done online and electronic certificates would be issued, he said.
The Authority is also going to introduce online service for issuance of birth certificates, payment of property tax, plot charges, etc, and for that purpose an application would be also introduced for making online payments.
It has also been planned to create an employees portal. There would also be online parking system in the federal capital.
