Ryan Gosling revealed he is a “good Barbie dad” while sharing fun details of his playtime with daughters, Esmeralda and Amada.

During Toronto press conference for his highly anticipated film Barbie, the Hollywood hunk shared hilarious details about his daughters’ Barbies and their “complicated lives.”

Gosling was asked by the interviewer if he was a “good Barbie dad” and if he can role-play with the dolls, to which he said, “Well, you have to know, my kids, their Barbies aren’t even named Barbie.”

“They all have their own names, very complicated lives, backstories, interrelationships, history, you gotta know it all,” the Notebook star added.

“If you are playing with the two that are estranged now for some reason [and you did not know that], it’s like, ‘Get out of here,’” he hilariously revealed.

Gosling, who will play the role Ken opposite Margot Robbie as Barbie in the upcoming live-action film, quipped, “They don't even talk!”

He then went on share funny details about his daughter’s game revealing that in their Barbie world, Ken “works at a grocery store, he's not a fireman...,” adding, “You gotta know.”

The actor shares his girls with longtime partner Eva Mendes and recently opened up about parenthood with her, sharing that whenever he hits an obstacle when it comes to parenting, he “just leans” on Mendes.

“She knows what’s important, always. She just somehow knows. So if ever I’m in my head about it, I just ask her,” he told GQ.

Gosling revealed that he wasn’t looking to be a father before meeting the 2 Fast 2 Furious star. “After I met Eva, I realized that I just didn’t want to have kids without her,” he added.

“And there were moments on The Place Beyond The Pines here we were pretending to be a family, and I didn’t really want it to be pretend anymore. I realized that this would be a life I would be really lucky to have.”
