Amonumentthemed 'Solidarity of Pakistan' wasinaugurated at the Defence Morr intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Korangi Road byBrigadierZubair Ahmed, administrator of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
On the occasion, theDefence Morr crossing was also officially renamed as 'Pak Chowk' incommemoration ofPakistan Day. Speaking at the ceremony, the administratorsaid the landmark reflected the vitality and solidarity of the Pakistanination and would be a source of inspiration for all.
